  Served as a key member of the FDIC’s Y2K team by developing and communicating division and corporation policies related to Y2K migration risks. Developed nationwide policies and procedures for monitoring the Y2K readiness of 6,000 banks and related organizations supervised by the FDIC. Prepared Congressional testimony and correspondence. Maintained alliances with key trade associations. Produced a comprehensive Y2K training program delivered to 2,000 bank examiners of federal and state agencies and 25 foreign governments. Served as a representative to the FDIC’s Year 2000 Communications Working Group, an interdivisional working group formed to focus on Year 2000 communications, public education, and Year 2000 related public confidence issues.
