      Safety Inspector

I was assigned to Australia Post Linehaul operations located at the Australia Post Underwood facility. My role was the vehicle safety inspector, and I managed the inspection of their B-Double and Semi Combinations along with other heavy vehicles within their fleet. My key responsibilities were inspections of the Australia Post fleet to ensure all vehicles, trailers and other equipment was kept and maintained to a high standard. I was responsible in ensuring that all vehicles were road worthy compliant and free from any defects. All defects that I identified at the time of inspection were reported at the appropriate level. Due to these vehicles being time critical because of departure schedules I would prioritise jobs accordingly. This role also involved working in conjunction with other areas of Post Business to ensure all maintenance and servicing was completed on time.I was praised by Post for my ability to ensure that all inspections and maintenance was completed in a timely manner and that there was a significant decrease in the defects found within their fleet because of the service that I provided. רוצה לראות פחות
