      Assist in examining & interpreting plans and specifications submitted for building, electrical, and plumbing. Evaluates and verifies alignment of building, elevation of structure and fixtures, setbacks and easements on site plan and approves or fails depending on conformity to florida building code. Converses with contractors, architects, engineers and/ or general public; explains rules, regulations and possible corrections to submitted work. Verifies infrastructure and approves site plans provided. prepares and maintains records and reports. Verifies zoning for foundation and final site plans and approves site plans provided according to Florida building code. Files new completed plans. Answers questions in e-mail and on the phone regarding plans and codes. Renewal of contractors licensers. Buzzsaw electronic submittals. verification and hold releases for: Termite certification, foundation setbacks, final survey boundary setbacks, infrastructure, soul reports, and easement encroachment of A/C or pool concrete pads.
