  Maintenance Material Management Coordinator (3MC)

  Responsible for the coordination of all facets of maintenance and material management (3-M) systems including implementing, evaluation, and coordination the USS Springfield's planned maintenance systems (PMS) and Maintenance Data System (MDS). Served as the ship's availability manager and coordinated efforts of and acted as liaison between Fleet units, US Navy organizations (NAVSEA, NUWC, NSWC, SPAWAR, Naval and commercial shipyards, etc.), and industry for new construction and ORDALT/SHIPALT/ECP installations and other life cycle support activities. As forward drill coordinator I developed innovative and challenging training scenarios and drill evolution's, that allowed the ship’s crew to respond safely to any casualty.   As the Weapons Department Senior Enlisted Advisor (WEPS SEA) I was in charge of a 23 acre weapons compound consisting of six divisions and 44 personnel which provided intermediate level maintenance and ordnance handling for 2 squadrons and 16 submarines. By fostering a culture of teamwork, I forged a well- trained team capable of overcoming all challenges from a Ammunition and Hazardous Material Inspection to the Tomahawk Certification and External Countermeasure Certification setting new standards for other facilities to emulate. A expert in risk mitigation and ordnance safety re-flexed by the execution of over 120 weapon loads, storage and transportation operations which directly contributed to the mission readiness of all waterfront submarines.   Project Manager/ Command Master Chief

  As the Project Manager for the Undersea Directorate I am responsible for the acquisition and life cycle support for all Multipurpose Reconfigurable training systems on all classes of submarines to include the newest Columbia class. As the Command Master Chief I am responsible for the training, supervision, good order and discipline, moral and welfare of all personnel on base consisting of 48 military members and 1400 civil service employees .
