As a COO I was focused on continual improvements of the process pillars of the firm and in coordination with back-office departments to build a high level of trust of partners in them.In 2019 the firm faced a key decision on whether to settle for its current top-10 position on the market or to confirm its more than 20 years of healthy growth by joining the strong international network BDO and become a top-5 on both, local and global market. The robust process of merging two different cultures, two different sets of experiences, and mainly two groups of strong personalities with one goal and one set of values, has started.As a part of the merger team, I was particularly responsible for meeting the independence requirements and other mandatory firm expansion procedures.
