  As Group Manager at Volvo Powertrain I established a new group responsible for Systems Engineering within Powertrain Control Systems. This was a very inspiring work where I had to take care of recruitment as well as development of processes and organization both within my own team and in relationship with Powertrain Engineering. I also had the role as deputy section manager and took care of that role during a period when my manager was on parental leave.For six months, I had the opportunity to gain new experience at Volvo Powertrain Product Planning, when I was substitute during a parental leave. In this role, I managed and communicated product plan and strategy for Volvo Group electrical hybrid powertrains and alternative fuels. As product planner, I also developed prerequisites for powertrain engineering projects and acted as pre-study leader. Show less

Among other things I was working with organization and process development for portfolio management related to a large organization change among the truck brands in the Volvo. I also handled issues around brand distinction between the different truck brands from a Volvo Trucks perspective. As Range Requirement Manager for FM/FMX I was responsible for product strategy, product planning, and follow-up of product development for Volvo FM and FMX. In addition to that I had the task to monitor trends and customer needs in the transport segments Construction and Mining. I also had the role as coordinator for Volvo Trucks Product Board, a forum where Volvo Trucks Management team took decisions concerning development of new products.
