  Oracle develops and sells relational data base products and associated software products and services. I was responsible for Western Canada. Western Canada was the most profitable area (percentage basis) with the highest revenue per employee. Year to year revenue growth exceeded 200%. Revenue grew from $25K/month (1986) to over $800K/month (1989). Employees grew from 1 to 43. The Calgary, Edmonton, Winnipeg, Vancouver, and Victoria offices were opened during my tenure.

  RightsMarket was one of the earliest entrants into Digital Rights Management (DRM). The flagship product encrypted, authorized use, metered, and reported on the usage of digital property (music, movies, books, pictures, etc.). The company went public in 1996 and at one point had a market capitalization of $120 million. I left the company after a serious paragliding accident in 2001. The company was subsequently merged with another publicly traded company.

  Jade was started by Dr. Brian Unger and Dr. John Cleary of the University of Calgary. Jade developed and sold discrete event parallel simulation software. I was responsible for Canada and the USA. My major accomplishment was opening the telecommunications market for Jade by selling AGT, Bell Canada, and BC Tel. In addition I was responsible for most of the sales of Jade's Sim++ software to US customers (e.g. Apple Computer).

UBI, established in March of 2001, has over 300 customers in Canada.

  I am working on a recommendation engine (Moon Shot Genius (MSG)) for buy/sell on lower priced stocks that are likely targets of insider training. The inputs are social media feeds and stock market data. I am using Python, Pandas, Tableau, and various supervised machine learning and deep learning algorithms. This technology hooks into a trading engine that automatically provides stock data (price, volume, etc.), debates with MSG and then produces a buy, sell, or do nothing signal.
