  Led Exhibit and Industrial Design operations at the Johnson Space Center, focusing on innovative design management and operational efficiency.- Orchestrated a highly complex, 9-day industrial relocation of the JSC Exhibits building, marking the largest endeavor undertaken by the team in over a quarter-century. Managed the logistics of transporting over 60 truckloads of items, ensuring zero losses or damages through meticulous planning, leveraging CAD software, and rigorous project supervision.- Pioneered the outsourcing of design capabilities to other NASA centers, including a significant collaboration with NASA’s Ames Research Center, enhancing inter-center cooperation and resource optimization.- Actively involved in talent acquisition processes, including recruiting, conducting interviews, and facilitating the onboarding of new hires, thereby contributing to team growth and capability enhancement. Managed over one million dollars of budget supporting all major programs and directorates at JSC (Cost Account Manager). Had responsibility for about a million dollars worth of NASA artifacts and property, as well as the JSC Exhibits facility that houses about $7.5 million worth of property.- Designed a moon rock display for the Biden Administration’s Oval Office- Successfully designed, coordinated, and implemented the largest event setup that the JSC Exhibits team has ever assembled (JFK 60th Anniversary event at Rice University)- Received awards for safety, outstanding achievement, and innovation, including the Edison Innovation Award, which is the highest possible award provided by the COMIT Contract- Implemented a CAD-based design and fabrication process to advance the Exhibit team’s quality, accuracy, and ability to convey design ideas to clients- Led 9 full-time employees across the graphic design, exhibit, and property teams, as well as additional seasonal workers- Rewrote and improved many internal JSC processes such as Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs), event installation packets, project estimates and design proposals, and more- Remotely assisted the Ames Research Center (ARC) in designing high-profile VIPER projects, traveling to ARC when needed Show less
