  Graduation internship

  During my internship in the Laboratory of Membrane biophysics and NMR, I worked on the characterization of biochar by solid-state NMR with ultra-fast Magic Angle Spinning in order to develop a new type of integrated biorefinery. Through this internship, I had the chance to set Cross Polarisation (1H-13C) experiments to minimize the acquisition time of carbon spectra. This opportunity was very enriching for me because I got to work with state-of-the-art probes (0.7mm and 1.3mm) and to get introduced to the world of solid-state NMR and its various applications in different fields.   The main object of this apprenticeship was to prepare for the accreditation of the English subsidiary of Aliénor Certification in order for it to become an Approved Body authorised to provide UKCA certificates for all manufacturers wishing to put their PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) on the GB market. My main tasks were :- The implementation of a Quality Management System meeting the requirements of the international standard ISO/IEC 17065:2012 and the PPE Regulations (EU) 2016/425- The Management of personnel training to prove that the conformity assessment body has the technical competence to perform certification activities in accordance with the requirements of the relevant standards and the PPE regulations (EU) 2016/425- Exchange with subcontractors, internal auditors, and UKAS assessors- The management of Corrective and Preventive Actions plans Show less
