Jul 2011 An NGO specially for the enlightenment of teens and vulnerable children on sex abstinence. We go to schools,market ,church, mosque any gathering that harbours children and teenagers. We enlighten them about HIV/AIDS and the best way not to contract the virus is through total sexual abstinence. We enlighten them about HIV/AIDS and the best way not to contract the virus is through total sexual abstinence. We really made headway in Gombe state and every school principal appreciated our efforts. The vulnerable kids are not left out. We encouraged them on the importance of education in order to stand tall in the society as this will best inform them on the need to abstain from sex. As much as we enlighten them on abstinence, we also inform them that HIV/AIDS is not contagious except by body fluids. We taught them never to stigmatize those with the virus because the stigma kills them faster than the virus. This was the beginning of my leadership power and open mindedness.
