      Junior Engineer in charge of the wet process operations (degreasing, etching, and titrations) related to an electroplating operation and waste water treatment plant. Supervised daily operations involving electrochemical processes which included nickel sulphamate / sulfate operations, 90/10 Tin/Lead and 100 % Tin surface finishes, alodine conversions, Alloy 42 / Copper annealing, and sintering process. Participated actively in the transfer operation of the manufacturing site from Zona Franca Metro to Asunción de Heredia. Afterwards, promoted to Senior Engineer and in parallel performed as production supervisor for the raw component manufacturing area. Supervised up to 3 production shifts and 70 people including direct reports and supervisors; meanwhile supported the engineering department with a Brazing process. Promoted to Specialist Engineer and led the EU´s RoHS project implementation and REACH initiative. Main responsibilities as the Bay Area Engineering Manager (Fremont/San Jose) included accomplishing/supporting business metrics such as VIPs, NCEP/CAPA, internal/external audits, and project execution. Responsibilities also involved coaching and monitoring performance of twenty one (21) professionals; while simultaneously minimizing attrition rates due to plant shutdown.
