  The Soil Mechanics Laboratory in the Civil Engineering department studies soil's physical and mechanical properties essential for designing and analyzing foundations and earthworks. The lab performs experiments on compaction, shear strength, permeability, and consolidation to assess soil stability and support structures. The lab includes 8 learning modules, 10 teams, and serves 78 students,helping them manage geotechnical risks in construction projects.my jobdesc is :-Conducted experiments to evaluate soil behavior under various conditions, including compaction, shear strength, permeability, and consolidation.-Assessed soil stability to ensure it meets safety and design standards for structural support.-Verified soil materials’ compliance with technical specifications and quality requirements.-Assisted in preparing technical reports and documentation to support project planning and engineering decisions.-Organized and archived laboratory data and results to ensure accurate record-keeping and facilitate future reference.-Provided training and mentorship to students on soil mechanics principles and laboratory procedures, guiding them through experiments and data analysis.   The Student Association of Civil Engineering is a group of students who unite within an organization at the university, with the aim of representing and advocating for the interests of students in the academic, social, and professional spheres.
