  Unit Supply Specialist

  I underwent rigorous training in firearms, field craft, map reading and other critical military skills necessary for safeguarding the nation and its interests. Additionally, I attended Yankee School where I was trained as a Unit Supply Specialist. Upon joining my unit, my responsibilities included monitoring sensitive items, conducting annual and other inventories, maintaining the unit property book, and securing and controlling all sensitive items - including weapons and ammunition. I was also in charge of maintaining clothing and OCIE inventories and records for the unit.Furthermore, I volunteered for ten months during the COVID-19 pandemic and worked closely with the state. My primary duty was to ensure that the general public received adequate assistance in taking their COVID tests and provided the required protocols for those who tested positive or were exposed. I was recognized for my service with the Armed Forces Service Medal and Humanitarian Service Medal. Show less

  During my time at Amazon, I worked as a data entry specialist where I was trained to use the company's software applications to ensure the accuracy of the data being entered and reviewed. My responsibilities also included organizing and preparing necessary documents to ensure the organization of the company, as well as performing other administrative tasks assigned by the CEO. I was also given the opportunity to become a team leader, where I led a small team by equally distributing tasks, rotating them on a weekly basis, and providing necessary training to those who needed it or were new to the team.   As a Direct Support Professional intern at ABLE Inc., I learned that every individual deserves to be respected, understood, and supported. Through their comprehensive training, I was equipped with the skills and knowledge to make a positive impact in the lives of others. I found fulfillment in helping those with disabilities and gained a deeper sense of compassion and patience.
