This represented a £1 Million investment for a private company in an area that they had no experience. Facility was making a sustained profit within 7 months of opening for business. Total responsibility for the operation, including• Internal stakeholder management to agree suitable capital cost base for the facility.• Developed specification of plant to deliver required quality of facility.• Established a plan for the greenfield site in liaison with plant manufacturer to ensure an efficient operation• Preparation of the build tenders and assessment of construction tenders to ensure plant was constructed in accordance with relevant regulations and quality requirements. • Responsible for acceptance of the plant post-commissioning from plant manufacturer.• Marketed the venture with the local contractor sub-base.• Ensuring maintenance of the facility in accordance with manufacturers specification.• Commercial responsibility to ensure continuous achievement of required volume and margin.   As Senior IT Project manager I am responsible for co-ordinating the programme of work that we are currently engaged in as a department. This work is a blend of enabling the existing systems to cope with new product and production operations, expanding existing system functionality to newly acquired businesses across Europe and deploying new systems, in particular SAP CRM, to existing operations.As a fairly small department with a high workload ahead of us this year a key part of this work is also about ensuring that we engage the right resources at the right stage of the projects whilst ensuring projects are controlled to ensure that development takes place only when a full view is available of the processes required.
