  Managing the Together To Zero Project I will oversee three key work streams, Seeing St Helens businesses receive funding and skills training to become greener as part of Liverpool City Region’s commitment to becoming net-zero carbon by 2040 as well as raising aspirations for young people to pursue exciting sustainable careers opportunities in the local region.Partner 2030hub will be delivering net-zero training, awareness-raising and on site support to develop decarbonisation and innovation plans, whilst also strategically connecting to the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) through a mapping and local adaption project that also includes a pioneering open-source SDG data platform for the area.2030hub launched a Liverpool City Region campaign called 2030zero (www.2030zero.com) last year to create a collaborative, locally relevant approach to helping SMEs find their balance and pace of carbon reduction approach which fits perfectly inside the objectives of Together To Zero.We believe that using the SDGs can be a powerful and pragmatic road map to connect global climate challenges such as net-zero that we ALL need to tackle, however big or small we are, to the very practical need for local businesses to survive daily."St Helen's will be the fist Town in the Word to have a SDG Platform in the world, which for me is a great honor to implement and to use to identify future funding opportunities where its needed.
