      Study Abroad Leadership and Activism: Trafficking

      I traveled with a group of 15 students to Puebla, Mexico through OU's President's Leadership Class. During this short-term program, we studied the issue of human trafficking that affects many countries, including Mexico. During our time in Puebla, we networked with leaders around the city to learn and discuss the causes and effects of trafficking on local and international levels.       Director of Member Selection

      I served as the Director of Member Selection for my chapter alongside the Vice President and Assistant Vice President of Member Experience for 2020 Formal Recruitment. In my role, I managed and served with three women on the Reference Team. The Reference Team was responsible for reading and filing over 3,000 documents from 1,100 potential new members and alumni. I also supervised a team of five women who were responsible for the Zoom operations of 250 members and 1100 potential new members. I implemented a new voting application to my chapter and used Excel Macros to export and sort relevant data. My role as Director of Member Selection challenged my leadership, adaptability, critical thinking, and interpersonal skills, as the entire Formal Recruitment process was moved online in 2020.
