  Journalist

  I worked as a journalist for an online fencing magazine providing information, live and non-liveupdates, stories, chronicles, interviews, and in-depth analysis of fencing tournaments. As part ofmy work, I attended and reported on the World, Zonal and Italian fencing championships andcarried out a wide variety of interviews with international athletes. The interviews werepublished in English and French and I also provided for their translation to Italian. My tasks forPianeta Scherma also included working as a social media manager, with a focus on thepublication’s Instagram. Through this role I had the chance to further involve athletes andsupporters from all over the world in the publication’s profile. Show less

  Freelance journalist

  I work as a freelance journalist writing articles for national newspapers and websites such asAlias, the cultural weekly magazine of the daily newspaper il manifesto, il manifesto, Domani, Altreconomia and il Giornale dellaMusica. I occasionally collaborated with Fencing Podcast, a British podcast on fencing. Ihave written and directed a radio documentary for Rete Due, RSI, the Swiss public broadcastingfor Italian-speaking Switzerland and one for RAI Radio Tre, the Italian national public broadcaster. The documentaries are a reportage of the disastrous effects of Storm Adrian on the Italian forest of Paneveggio and on how an Italian band, Eugenio in Via Di Gioia, had organised a fundraiser and brought their fans and the local community together to replant trees in the area. In 2019 I wrote and directed a documentary with the architect Sergei Tchoban in Naples, “Harmony of the Contrasts – Sergei Tchoban Draws Naples”, which is currently being edited. Show less
