Researched the industry, sourced products, merchandised pages, and wrote copy, negotiated prices, discounts and freight. Set up new vendors and item numbers. Increased production staff efficiency by organizing and maintaining files and product samples on every vendor, easing access to vital information; Decreased costs by reducing back orders and expediting new orders; Enhanced customer service while reducing costs by obtaining additional discounts from vendors, as well as more favorable terms and policies for returning discontinued merchandise.
