  At DLPS I moved around and learned a number of roles to make myself more accessible for the company. I Started off as an underwriter which meant completing life insurance applications over the telephone with customers. I then became a Direct Underwriter which involved having customers passed straight through to me on the phone, I would run them a quote for life insurance, set them up an application online and complete it with them. Soon after I became a scheduler and i would schedule appointments and deal with completed applications and the stages after that. Before i left Direct Life i became a life company specialist and would deal with all enquiries regarding the life insurance companies Zurich and Fortis Life. Within this role I also had to attend meetings with the managers of these companies and discuss the website itself and any recommendations or aspects we could improve on. Show less
