      While studying abroad with William & Mary's semester program in La Plata, Argentina, I was able to take a class at UNLP, as well as take classes and have an internship at the Comisión Provincial por la Memoria. The Comisión is a human rights organization that deals with the history of human rights abuses during the last dictatorship, as well as current human rights abuses in the Argentine penal system.

      Program and Performance Management: Oversees three health insurance enrollment grants, totaling almost $1 million, including Single Stop's DOH-funded Navigator grant, DOH-funded Consumer Assistance for the Aged, Blind, and Disabled subgrant, and a privately funded Marketplace enrollment grant. Monitors program performance on a monthly basis, analyzing performance trends and providing intervention when needed to address performance issues. Develops funder reports and liaises with key partner and funder staff to address any issues.Budget and Contract Management: Oversees the subcontracting process for the five subgrantees under Single Stop's health insurance enrollment grants. Prepares and reviews both Single Stop's and the subgrantees' annual budgets and any budget modifications. Provides oversight for the vouchering and reimbursement process for the DOH-funded grants.Training & Technical Assistance: Develops and delivers trainings for individuals city-wide, including in-depth enroller trainings and introductory-level trainings for partner staff and others in the community. Provides technical assistance to Single Stop's three CACs, ten Navigators, and three Facilitated Enrollers on a daily basis, including site visits, phone-based interventions, and toolkit development.Staff Management: Oversees a team of seven staff members, including five enroller staff who provide services at partner sites and two program support staff. Show less As part of Single Stop's Health Reform Training and Support initiative, the Training Associate helps to ensure rapid capacity building across SSUSA's network to provide health insurance application assistance under the new ACA regulations. The Training Associate develops and delivers training and technical assistance to healthcare enrollers within Single Stop's network, and disseminates shared challenges and best practices to strengthen programming and understand the impact of health reform on our communities.
