  As a Senior Well Engineer, I was in charge of the drilling engineering team (drilling & junior engineers). Operational follow up of 4 rigs at the same time for Non-Conventional wells using UBD equipment, coordination with operations team through daily meeting including managers and rig personnel. Optimization of drilling activities, develop plans & statistics workbooks to improve drilling operations & optimization of drilling programs. Constant QHSE reporting of hazardous situations, observation / intervention to avoid possible HSE events.Quality and HSE events investigations (SCAT analysis), creating plans (RWP) in order to avoid future events and create technical alerts to be presented at the rig site.Offset wells analysis in order to define the operational mud window to work with UBD equipment.   WELL MONITORING ENGINEER

  In charge of implementing a new software RigHour® into the Ayatsil Project. I was in charge of cleaning all data of daily drilling reports and set them into the software in the right way. Had meetings with the developers and been able to introduce improvements into the software. Having the knowledge of drilling operations I was able to take the best of the software working together with the developers. Once all data was set into the software, I was able to create operational times reports of tripping, connections, casing running and additional flat times in order to identify opportunities to reduce operational time. These reports were divided into wells, days, hours, drilling rig and drilling crew allowing to make a proper analysis to reduce all flat times. Present to the client, PEMEX, the results of the software and been able to create different strategies to optimize each well to be drilled in the zone.Provide operational recommendations for each drilling rig for each of the operation as result of the analysis done with the program Show less

  Drilling Superintendent (Cell Leader)

  In charge of the drilling operation and drilling engineering of 4 Rapid Rigs (Hydraulic Rigs) own by PAE into the project of PAE Rigs as a Drilling Superintendent (Cell Leader), drilling over 75 wells per year, exceeding the targets and results set for the project.Personnel Management of Drilling engineers, Company Man & Security personnel. Developed strategies and campaigns to create conscience in to the drilling crew to reduced HSE events on each rig with positive results, reducing the HSE monthly indicators.Create statistics and KPI of the project, monitoring the improvement well by well. Create monthly reports of drilling performance for each rig.Working together with DTM team and into Kaisen project in order to reduce moving time of each rig. The normal time to move the rig was 80-100 hrs, after implementation of Kaisen project the times were reduced to 50 hrs and less.Controlled the time and cost for each well drilled in order to complain with the AFE approved by the Drilling & Construction Vice-President. Analyzed each well to be drilled and working together with DDR (Reservoir Development Area) to achieve each target as requested and avoid water influx due to injectors in the area.Work together with WARROOM (OSC) taking operational decisions, defining plans and strategies to drill each well in time and cost. Implement a new design in the casing drilling BHA and tested on field, reducing times and been able to drill a well in 4 days.Work with the project leader, rig maintenance & rig superintendent to keep each rig running. Been able to replace the project leader during vacation time, taking control of the project, rig personnel, budget and maintenance management. Show less

  I started working as a senior well engineer for the Development team in MCA. I was in charge of 2-3 wells at the same time, having operational meetings with the client and discussing future operations and optimization for the wells. Then i was promoted to be in charge of the engineering team for the same project. Also i have been involved in the financial part of the project, developing the AFE procedure and follow up and the list items follow up in order to charge the client for the jobs that have been done.
