  I previously worked full/part time administering prescribed and/or over the counter medications. I ordered medications when needed by the residents preferred pharmacy or from Omnicare Pharmacy (which is the pharmacy that Brookdale Pacifica Skylyn uses). I did monthly MARS each month & wrote out directions on how to take each medication. I carefully counted Narcotic drugs before & after shift change. I did medication cart audits. I also Stat Order new or old medicine for residents who have been sent to the hospital or doctor’s visits upon their arrival back or for restock or refill.
