      This role with DIRECTV Broadband, a nationwide internet service provider, established the foundation for the extensive contract work I have handled for clients throughout my career. Also, it gave me the opportunity to use my strengths as an effective business strategist, communicator-collaborator and team leader in a highly competitive industry where compliance and regulatory issues stood at the forefront of operations.KEY ACHIEVEMENTS⇨ Drafted and negotiated a dynamic set of agreements (confidentiality, licensing, marketing and service) that aligned a range of parties to mutual goals and fostered trust. This included approximately 1,800 individual contracts and commitments for legal and financial sufficiency annually.⇨ Developed and implemented key company policies on privacy, email and marketing communications and advertising that enabled the organization to maintain its role as an industry leader.⇨ Enabled the organization to avoid litigation by being vigilant about ensuring marketing compliance and monitoring regulatory issues critical to the organization’s value proposition.⇨ Led a team of 5 staff members who held responsibility for investigating and responding to hundreds of complaints and directives from regulatory agencies that contributed to enhancing the organization’s market position, protecting it’s brand reputation and strengthening its corporate governance.       CoreLogic, Inc. gave me the opportunity to provide in-house legal counsel and demonstrate myknowledge and expertise as a sales operations leader. I resolved a variety of sales, business and legal challenges for CoreLogic, the leading provider of real estate data, analytics and technology solutions to financial services, real estate and direct marketing companies. I worked with this company both under the name CoreLogic, Inc. as well as First American Real Estate Solutions, a division of First American Corporation, which was spun off as CoreLogic, Inc.I served as corporate counsel and retained counsel for a period, and partnered with senior management in support of developing and rolling out key initiatives including a dynamic growth strategy which featured 2 key business acquisitions and a range of client-focused sales operational enhancements. I also held key responsibility for contract drafting and negotiation, strategic partnership management and sales process improvement.       In this diverse executive management role, I held principal responsibility for Legal oversight as well as planning and executing strategic initiatives for ClosingCorp, the nation’s largest provider of mortgage technology solutions for loan origination fee compliance. I played a pivotal part in transforming an undisciplined 6-year-old business into an industry leader. My scope of oversight and management included: partner programs/key relationships (~$15M/year), sales operations, as well as business and legal risk assessment including the management of in-house Corporate Counsel and 3 outside law firms. I was responsible for leading a project team which connected and automated the business via successful SalesForce.com BPM implementation including the replacement of 34 legacy systems and disconnected manual processes. I also led a project tasked with re-engineering of onboarding processes and policy that resulted in 18% improvement in onboarding time.KEY ACHIEVEMENTS⇨ Quadrupled revenues, tripled client base and increased market share by 30%⇨ Negotiated ~$3M in agreements with #1 and #5 lenders in U.S., as well as 8 of top 20 lenders⇨ Expanded partner relationships and produced over $2.5M in new ARR⇨ Right sized per-unit pricing and revised subscription models that upped PPP by 42% and ACV by 50%⇨Created the governance structure which leveraged BI to enhance Account Management practicesand renegotiate legacy agreements with top clients, generating ~ $850K in new revenue Show less
