Principle duties included:Developing a complex 3Dimensional geological/reserve model of the South Wales Coalfield enabling the determination of several suitable sites for carbon storage/ECBM and UCG within regions of the coalfield that had previously been unmined.Developed a laboratory for the experimentation of carbon storage in coal and other rock media aswell as studying the geomechanical behavior of those rocks under reservoir conditions.Developed a site selection toolkit to enable a variety of stakeholders to understand and delineate the best sites for unconventional reserve exploitation in Wales.Established key relationships with several companies within Wales and put in place collaborative projects to help those companies solve complex problems.
