  Embedded Systems Engineer

  As his first job after graduation, Eugene worked as an engineer in the company for six years. In this six years, Eugene have been rotated to a few projects, undertaking different roles in each project. In the first four years, Eugene worked as an embedded systems engineer in a decade long military maritime project. His main job scope in the project was to design and implement DSP algorithms, code the algorithms into C language and map into a customized high performance embedded system with multiple parallel processors, using multi-computing techniques.Subsequently, Eugene was transferred to a experimental development project for one year as an hardware engineer. His job scope in the project was to evaluate and procure market hardware for use in the project, and retrofit the various hardware for the experiments.In his final year with the company, Eugene worked on another experimental project as a software engineer, honing his skill in C++ language.   In my current concurrent role:• I apply Robotic Process Automation and Business Workflow Automation to facilitate the automation of repetitive computer-centric processes at the polytechnic.• As a consultant, I provide guidance to ministries, government agencies, and private companies in navigating their digital transformation journey.• I have founded and currently oversee a team of Robotic Process Automation trainers, delivering RPA short courses (using UiPath) to the public.• I have established and currently lead a team of trainers providing short courses on Workflow Automation (using Power Automate) to the public.• Holding the position of Chief Consultant, I spearhead RPA and Workflow Automation projects in collaboration with other companies, ensuring successful and innovative outcomes. Show less In his more than 10 years in Republic Polytechnic, Eugene had undertaken various projects other than academics. Among the more outstanding ones are his various brain-controlled interface projects that earned him the nickname of "Dr Xavier" within the Polytechnic, his engineering based Cambodia service learning projects, and the online education videos he developed on Design Spark PCB (PCB prototyping) and UiPath (RPA). In his current role in the new diploma, Eugene is focused in grooming students to be future start-up entrepreneurs savvy in engineering fundamentals and product design. Eugene is also very much into education research, majoring in qualitative analysis.Eugene is adept in RPA (Robotic Process Automation). He established and leads a team of RPA trainers and is currently the chief RPA trainer in his team in the polytechnic, conducting UiPath courses offered to the public.
