  My main task is to help to define and create e-learning modules for the Department of Corrections. Working with other subject matter experts, we identify appropriate materials for use in e-learning and create the course content and package it into SCORM compliant learning modules. In addition I provide some tech support and aid in curriculum development at the local office, manage our development and portal servers, and maintain and enhance various in house software applications.

  Vocational instructor teaching incarcerated students how to create games in desktop, mobile, and cloud environments. Innovation and project based learning is the cornerstone of this program. Students learn to think like engineers and to come up with their own solutions. We use various tools including C#, Python, C++, Unity3D, PHP, HTML/CSS/Javascript, Raspberry Pi, Desktop and server Virtualization, and a mixture of operating systems. Responsibilities include Advising and instruction in the Multimedia Communications Degrees. Primarily I teach web design and development classes including HTML, CSS, Content Management Systems, Flash, and Javascript.

  Primary goal is to make corrections education more equitable by bringing technical resources to a marginalized population. My job is to develop new software tools that enhance student opportunities and give them more resources to succeed in a secure environment.I am the primary developer for the OPE (Open Prison Education) project. The goal is to create prison ready education technology. https://correctionsed.com/The OPE project inclues a secured self hosted Canvas LMS as well as additional supporting tools for offline use.
