      This position is to fill in for the Ship Manager at any time and can pick up wherever he/she left off. If the Ship Manager is sick or on vacation, the AM II will be able to fill that role while completing his daily duties below.Daily Responsibilities Include:- Compiled of all items within Area Manager I- Direct interface with the Gov’t & Ship’s Force about scheduled work- Daily status meetings to discuss milestones and critical path items- Gather information and decisions from supervisors on problems throughout- Weekly sit down briefs with various levels of management and Gov’t to communicate proposals, schedules and any recommendations Show less This position was held in Singapore for a 7 month rotation. During this time, oversaw Fly Away Team's and Sub contractors that flew into various locations to perform work on the ship. Performed several site visits to gain knowledge of local contractors and to see their ability to perform work during scheduled availabilities. Coordinated travel, work, schedule's and countries entrance requirements(Visa's/Work Permits). Home based out of Singapore. Direct reports were Program Managers and Director of the LCS SEC Contract.Daily Responsibilities Include:- Cumulative of Area Manager I & II- Daily meetings with High Ranking Naval Officials to talk schedules and deployment concerns- Continuous work on USS Coronado LCS-4 initial deployment: *Setting up work environments in Guam, Vietnam, Malaysia & Singapore - Maintain Schedules and availabilities to keep Coronado on deployment - Liaison between Commander Logistics Group Western Pacific (CLWP) and GD-NASSCO- Liaison between Fleet Logistics Center Singapore and GD-NASSCO- Manage employees and contractors that supported USS Coronado in locations listed above- Established working relationships with several local authorities and contractors Show less This position is to fill in for the Ship Manager at any time and can pick up wherever he/she left off.
