  Lamps of Light Project is a nonprofit organization established to empower individuals, families, and communities to confront the challenges of chemical and behavioral addictions via education, treatment, and other resources. While our services are available to the general population, we do have a particular specialization in the Muslim community due to the pressing need. Our approach is centering individuals who have battled the darkness of tragedy, trauma and addiction— then recovered— to be ‘ LAMPS OF LIGHT’ to others in need of guidance and support. Our mission is to provide compassionate, comprehensive and customized care to those who struggle with different levels of addiction. At the same time, we strive to eradicate the stigma associated with addiction so the greater Umma can witness the nobility of every human being and contribute to the positive transformation of those in recovery.
