      A project work for the NavalAircraft Yard-Kochi.The work involved was the repair of compressive load testing machine and analysis of the previousLoad Measuring System, so as to implement a new load measuring equipment into the system. Aload cell of a Pan Cake model of capacity 5 ton was finalized and certain mount-ups were fabricated tointegrate the load cell into the machine.Adigital load indicator was also provisioned for accuracy andprecision of the reading indicated.
