  As Quality Manager for Como Fit Out, I am responsible for the consistent delivery and service of all live projects, this would include up to 15 simultaneous projects at any given time.Projects are of a fit out nature and range in value from £2million to £30million.Duties include Internal auditing of live projects within the construction sector, auditing of the corporate support functions and quality inspections of the final deliverables and auditing of contractors to ensure adherence to ISO9001 standards.Training of staff and systematic review of processes for continual improvement and excellence aiming for an integrated system for controlling Quality as well as HS&E issues.Ensuring each sub-contractor working on live projects has a Quality Plan and the relevant Inspection & Test Plans in place prior to starting on site.Sending out quality alerts/bulletins when and as necessary to all relevant stakeholders.Raising and closing out of any non-conformances highlighted during audits or site inspections.Administer and implement the use of defects and quality management system reporting for all projects using a system called Field View.Responsible for ensuring all projects meet their required sustainability targets as laid out by government and company policy. He is also responsible for the recruitment, development and assignment of Como's Document Controllers and Information Management staff.Duties also include administering and delivering to a high standard Como's Sustainability figures in accordance with Mace standards/targets and the implementation of Priority 1 as a quality/defects management tool for the Como business unit.Prior to this management/skill head role Brett had worked as an Information Manager/document controller on various Como fit-out projects ranging in size from £10 000 to £50 Million.Prior to joining Como, Brett had 5 years document control experience working for Anglo Platinum as Senior Document Controller for their Bafokeng Rasimone mining project in Rustenburg, South Africa.Brett also has a wealth of knowledge in Graphic Design having graduated from the South African Printing College and working as a graphics retoucher for a large repro house in South Africa Show less £42 Million - 247,000 square foot refurbishment to Cat A finish including a complete renewal of all services. My responsibilities included the delivery of the document control process for the project which was run using Conject (formerly BIW) as the EDMS this involved the issuing and control of over 10000 drawings, technical submittals, samples, method statements and other related project documentation. Training of staff on the conject(BIW) system, issuing of monthly and weekly reports, implementing and running the snagging system and collaborating with Dome Connect to deliver the O&M manuals.
