In honor of this school representation, I was permitted to organize and paint a 15x 90 ft mural in our school's main hall as a legacy of my time at CVHS.I have only attended high school for 3.5 years as I was taken out of school during my sophomore year (2008) to backpack from Kenya to Scotland over the course of 6 months. During this time, I visited 13 countries (for a total of 25 over my lifetime), gathering irreplaceable cultural experiences and expanding my worldview. Show less

      Incomplete industrial and organizational psychology

In my 3rd year of pursuing a BS in IO Psychology, I took a UX/UI Design class as an elective of the program and realized my work in applied psychology would be much better expressed as a designer in Human Factors. The next year I re-enrolled in Arizona State University to eventually graduate with a BS in Industrial design with a focus on Human Factors. To this day, I regularly apply the knowledge gained during these early Psychology focused years to my design work.

I was tasked to build my first design team in the fall of 2017 during the final stage of study for the design management degree and since have managed the formation of 5 generations of award-winning and competition-winning design teams though the Luminosity Laboratory. I outlined the necessity of each role and have hand selected the first 2 generations of the team. The team each consisted of entry-level design talent, tasked to work in interdisciplinary teams for high-profile clients. Despite bringing them in with little experience, my design program has led dozens of these designers to win competitions, awards and land the job of their dreams upon graduation. Today these team positions represent the top student work opportunities for designers studying at ASU. Show less

    • Mohave community college

      2013 - 2014

In financial preparation to enroll in Arizona State University, I was required to establish residency in Arizona for 1 year. I moved to Mohave County, to live with extended family. Wanting to continue my education, I enrolled in the local community college and continue to take general elective and core science credits in my upcoming design curriculum. The small class sizes provided an exceptional opportunity for teacher engagement and cohort unity, both of which enhanced my experience at MCC.

      Aug 2011 - Sept 2018
      Partner and consultant

Working in a total of five locations in both franchise and corporate industry. Whether it'd be by multitasking or applying teamwork, both methods were developed in pursuit of making a positive connection with customer while operating the store at maximum efficiency. By understanding and applying these services, my work has resulted in many returning customers. I have knowledge of store operation procedure during the entirety of its operating hours. After a 4 year unbroken record of successful closing shifts, I transferred to Luminosity at Arizona State where Starbucks corporate became one of our first clients. From working as a Starbucks partner, to becoming a partner in their projects, I had fresh knowledge of their inner workings for compatible concepts in increasing business efficiency. Several ideas were proposed to Starbucks corporate from 2016-2021, including innovative contributions to the sustianable Starbucks Reuseable Cup Initiative. Show less
