  Summer Hire Position with the goal of preparing a Buddhist Retreat Center ready for usage after a year and a half of vacancy. Move and organize decades worth of merchandise for book sale. Prepare over 60 rooms for retreat usage, including over the assembly of over 100 pieces of furniture and deep cleaning through out a 412 acre property. Transport up to 60 lbs worth of merchandise at a time using hands and golf carts.

  As a part of a small community of young/empowered developing leaders, a YELLer is a more visible and active community member who accepts the responsibility of a little more weight in the flow of the event. They act as event staff for every event excluding council meetings. YELLers fulfill the needs of event staff to sustain the event programming and connection between event goers like cooking, peer counseling, head of staff aka “deans”, or even coordinating the spiritual aspects of the event with the worship coordinators. My skills lie within a wide realm of versatility due to the length of my involvement with YRUUP. I have experience collaborating with all YELLer positions as a superior, subordinate, and/or within the power systems that each role offers. Show less
