Senior General Engineer (Structural) with responsibility for predicting the structural response of facilities, to include underground facilities (UGFs), to conventional and nuclear weapons effects. Applied a wide range of professional engineering skills as well as intelligence analytic skills to assess and report on the physical effect of weapons on structures and material, modeling the effects through computer algorithms, and developed damage definitions and criteria for various levels of damage due to weapons effects.Initiated, planned, organized, evaluated, and prepared complex intelligence analytical assessments in conjunction with counterpart agencies (i.e. NSA, NGA, CIA) analysts.Managed vulnerability projects and production while keeping collaborative efforts with the UFAC. In conjunction with DoD agencies, developed several vulnerability threat assessments on critical structures and highly populated areas under nuclear, chemical, and biological threat alert as well as conventional ballistic missile threat.Collaborated with targeting and R&D community to influence positive change in weapons effects modeling tool (i.e. IMEA, JWS) improvement.Authored major CJCS reference publication “Definition of Nuclear Damage”. Produced physical vulnerability products covering conventional and nuclear targeting issues, received laudable comments from JS, CENTCOM, STRATCOM, and high ranking foreign high ranking officials. Authored assessments on conventional weapons effects directly impacted AFRICOM and NATO kinetic strikes decisions. Worked with the National Medical Intel Center in an analytical piece regarding the potential of an agent release which was described as critical. Show less
