      Communications Intern

As a communications intern in a highly demanding and dynamic environment, I had a chance to develop the skills I learnt at university in the highly demanding, media focused environment of healthcare that exists today. I was extremely fortunate that this internship was intensive and full of exciting projects and learning possibilities. From press release writing to media engagement, the experience has been a real eye opener and it is great to see people making a difference to those around them, and seeing the enjoyment they take away from it, even amongst intense media criticism of their efforts. While primarily focused with universal design, pro-social approaches and wayfinding this study resolved to enhance the experience of all students from present to future. For more information on any of the above then please just ask.
