  The Industrial training was conducted over a period of six months. Sprema engineering works is a company which involves mostly in installation, repairs and maintenance of steel structures. I was mainly involved in two projects, the Bagatelle Mall of Mauritius Structural Steel roofs installations and the refurbishment of the Mauritius Ports Authority (MPA) workshop.Areas of training were as follows; Understanding technical aspects of machines such as Shearing machine, Lathe, Hydraulic Press, Grinding, Drilling, and welding machines present at the workshop. Assisting in the execution of 2D Drawings of steel Structures using AutoCAD 2009 software. Estimation of Material Quantities from tender drawings. Assisting in Site Co-ordinations at the Bagatelle Mall of Mauritius- Structural Steel Roofs. Re-measurement of completed works at Bagatelle Mall of Mauritius Inspection of Bird net installed at the Mauritius Ports Authority (MPA) workshop. I was involved at every level from tendering to installation and reviewing of the completed installations. I had the responsibility to analyse and solve engineering problems.
