  During my 27 years of service I served as a Combat medic and in the Dental Corps working in field hospitals caring for wounded Soldiers with a wide scope of injuries while I was deployed. These treatments ranged from burns, Fractures, tourniquets, prevevtive measures, and a variety of others. I also worked in Community Hospitals as a medic and a practice manager. I worked directly with patients until I was promoted to the strategic levels of management when I became Lean Six qualified to improve the process of taking care of patients. My scope of responsibility grew with each promotion which culminated with my serving as the Region Sergeant Major position as a 1SG. In this position I oversaw the operations of 3 hospitals, 33 stand-alone clinics, and 340 personnel. Show less
