Designed and Analyzed analog photonic link using direct modulation of a DFB laser and detection with a PIN photodiode at C-Band operation with 25% bandwidth. * Performed Link Budget Analysis for satellite communication links on key performance parameters (EIRP, phase noise and S/N). Identified link budget shortfalls and received recognition for research on crystal specification. * Created non-linear model of Traveling-Wave Tube Amplifier (TWTA) for 2-tone spurious analysis.* Performed Electrical Worst Case Analysis on 44GHz LNA Downconverter for key performance parameters. * Product Integrity Engineer for Variable Gain Amplifier. Responsible for test and production processes for FLIGHT hw. * Quickly Identified and proved device degradation during production (ACSS) was caused by a malfunction of the plasma cleaner. This saved production time and prevented further device damage.* Ensured multiple hybrids were free of hydrogen contamination by researching and verifying hydrogen getter plan. * Wrote performance specification, test procedure and production planning* Collaborated with mechanical engineers, drafters, material engineers and assemblers to create 6-sigma designs. * Designed and tested X-Band Downconverter (7.5 GHz to 300MHz) hermetic module in coplanar waveguide (CPW) medium to meet performance requirements. Designed components/sub-assemblies to meet requirements of satellite communication payloads using circuit simulation tools, EESOF/Libra, in conjunction with 2.5D and 3D electromagnetic wave simulators.
