      As the manager of a section of 10 people I was responsible for the operation of customer facing test systems. My responsibilities included incident, problem and change management as well as test data management.Main achievements in this role:Build a cross functional team to support mainframe and open systems.Training and skill management for team members. Cross training between people with different skills.Build up and maintain a tight incident and problem management process with operations's incident teams and R&D test system support teams.       Heading a network team in charge of the Amadeus data centre LAN in Erding and world wide. The main responsibilities cover technology support, network architecture design and implementation, life cycle activities and 2nd level support. We are covering our DC LAN around the globe providing 24/7 support.We cover both physical and software defined (NSX) network solutions as well soon in the cloud. Heading a team of 50+ people performing infrastructure lifecycle management for network, storage and compute components. Activities cover provisioning, deployment, maintenace, capacity management, operation and decomissioning. Working together with teams in Sydney, Bangalore and Miami to provide 24/7 operation.
