If not, inform the relevant business area and ensure that a note is made on the checking sheet for the Compliance team to check before payouts or limits is loaded Show less Opening of Loan Accounts, Preparation of Security documents for all loans (Bonds, Leases, Loans, Instalment Finance, as well as Overdrafts):Obtain all required source documents/forms (ID document, trust documents, company documents) from branch to draw up agreements and NCA Quotes and other security documents for all loans / overdrafts;Request valuations from authorised panel of valuators;Instruct attorneys to register bonds;Sign and send any request for Consent to Cancel Bond to the attorneys;Open accounts on the Bancs system and update Electronic Securities Register (ESR) with securities required as pending;Maintain proper records of correspondence from attorneys & branches;Follow up on the receipt of the original bond and title deed from the Attorneys;Draw up loan agreements, facility letters or NCA Quote for re-advances / increased facilities where applicable;Check signed documentation received via Workflow and prepare pay-out;Check that relevant conditions of sanction have been complied with and applicable terms and conditions are met prior to issuing instructions to attorneys to register a bond or pay-out on any other loan or loading of a limit;Issue proxies to dealers to register vehicles (Instalment Finance & Leases);Attend to and resolve internal queries in respect of Retail deals relating to Bonds, Instalment finance, Loans and Overdrafts;Action settlements in respect of bonds, ISA’s and loans;Ensuring that all fees are processed when a deal is paid out or a limit is loaded;Ensuring that archiving is attended to monthly regarding closed accounts and deals not taken up by clients;Adhere to Retail’s service level agreement when performing duties at all times;Activate the Debit Order and Service fee date;Identify any expired Life policies held as Collateral from the Collateral dump and confirm that Mercantile’s interest is noted with the assurance company. Update Bancs accordingly and file the confirmation on the security File.
