      Senior Pastor

Founding Pastor of the historic Hosanna Life Renewal Christian Fellowship of American Canyon, the First Multi-Ethnic Congregation intentionally organized and affiliated within the Southern Baptist Convention.I am also proud of our church planting history through a long process of prayer and discernment for the will of God, Senior Pastors Ancho Buenaventura of Life Church Philippines and Dr. Morris A. Curry of Hosanna Life Renewal Christian Fellowship USA jointly decided to follow the call of God to start a church in Los Angeles California, and in 2003 Pastor Frederick Ylaya and wife Peachy pioneered the work in the San Fernando Valley of the greater LA County. From its humble beginnings in a residential home in Van Nuys, the fellowship grew to a number where it started renting a space at the YMCA and outgrew that place to start meeting at the Marriott Hotel at Sherman Oaks. Hosanna Life church as it is now called has been renting for several years the auditorium at the Bernardi Multi Purpose Senior Center for its regular service every Sunday. With a firm Vision of touching lives with the word of truth found in the Bible through the finished work of Jesus Christ. Hosanna Life Van Nuys has been impacting lives and the families of this community. Not only that but through the blessing of God, it has since April of 2010 started a church outreach at Sycamore Creek in the North Corona Area.None of these efforts would have been possible without the grace of God and the working of the Holy Spirit through obedient men and women in the church leadership and membership who have volunteered their God given gifts in building the church and its membership. Our goal remains the same to mature the saints until the return of our Lord Jesus. St. Paul firmly confessed in Colossians 1:28 He is the one we proclaim, admonishing and teaching everyone with all wisdom, so that we may present everyone fully mature in Christ. Show less
