  Working as part of the Community Liaison team, I engaged with a variety of stakeholders in Exeter to solve problems and promote cohesive communities. As part of the University of Exeter's Green Consultants scheme, I undertook a behaviour change consultancy project aimed at improving staff and student engagement with a sustainability rewards programme. I collaborated with a small team to analyse usage data from the programme, carry out user research and suggest improvements within a set budget.

  Through the University of Exeter's Green Consultants scheme, I secured a consultancy internship at the 1000-year-old St Nicholas Priory. I independently conducted a baseline sustainability audit, created a new sustainability policy and produced a costed timeline of recommendations for improvement. I presented my recommendations to key stakeholders, who agreed to implement them as suggested.

  Community Wellbeing Development Officer

  As part of the Town Council's Community Development team, I was responsible for building stronger links with community groups and organisations so that the Council could better serve its town. To achieve this I worked between the Town Council and local CIC The Healthy Living Company offices, as well as spending lots of time getting out into the wider community. I facilitated community engagement sessions for the Council, on topics such as anti-racism, as well as feeding back directly from the networks I was able to build.One of my primary responsibilities was finding, applying for and managing the delivery of grant funding relating to wellbeing. I took ownership of this process both internally and in an advisory capacity to support local charities and groups to access grants. I worked on a range of projects relating to wellbeing, sustainability and food security. I also received training on trauma-informed practice. Show less

  Student Hubs

  Operations and Activities Manager

  As part of Student Hubs' national team, I was responsible for Student Hubs' external communications across social media, our website and newsletters, and I facilitated our alumni engagement initiatives. Internally, I supported with data collection and analysis across our Hub network, ensuring local teams were supported to evaluate and improve their programmes and inclusion practices. I also supported the Hub network more generally day-to-day with their communications and use of internal systems.On a local level, I also supported the student leaders at our Cambridge Hub to run events, promote the Hub's programmes, and fundraise. Before the announcement of Student Hubs' closure, I was undertaking a project in which Cambridge students had the opportunity to co-design and take the lead on a new committee structure for their Hub.
