  Responsibilities:- Staying up-to-date with the latest regulatory requirements for chemical safety in the UK, Northern Ireland, the European Union, and other relevant regions.- Interpret and translate regulatory requirements into actionable steps and guidelines for the organization.- Collaborate with the technical team to ensure products and processes comply with applicable regulations.Safety Data Sheets (SDS) Development:- Work closely with the technical team to create accurate and comprehensive SDSs in line with relevant legislation.- Using both GHS Professional and ExESS software programmes for SDS and eSDS creation.- Conduct research and gather necessary information to support SDS development, including chemical properties, hazard classification, and safe handling procedures.- Review and revise existing SDSs to ensure compliance with updated regulations.- Compile exposure scenarios for hazardous substances based on the identified uses of products.- Assess and document the risks associated with product use and provide recommendations for risk mitigation measures.Dangerous Goods Safety Adviser (DGSA) Reports:- Prepare and submit DGSA reports for the company, covering both the UK and Ireland.- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations regarding the transport of dangerous goods.- Provide guidance and support to internal teams regarding the safe transport and labelling of hazardous substances.Software Migration:- Involvement with the migration of the company's SDSs to a new software program.- Train and support employees on the use of the new software, addressing any issues or concerns that arise.
