      Working for Greenwich Leisure Limited as a Relief Duty Manager & Senior Recreation Assistant. Within this role I was responsible for line managing a team of lifeguards and all staff when on as a Duty Manager. My role also included the day to day operations such as cash handling and set up’s of the building including maintenance of the pools which involved pool backwash procedures and pool tests.       Duty Manager

      Working for Abbeycroft Leisure as Duty Manager at Bury Leisure Centre, within my role I am responsible for the day to day operations and obtain responsibility of line managing the sales team and all the staff members whilst I am on duty. The centre itself consists of a floodlit, 8 Lane, Olympic standard West Suffolk Athletics Arena and grass pitch, 4 pools with flumes, 110 station fitness studio, 3 exercise studio’s and a main hall all of which I am responsible for. In addition to this I am responsible for our apprentice team ensuring that they are following the course objective, developing them further within the fitness industry and to be there to support in any means. Further to this I have created an operation’s package to ensure the maintenance and safety of all equipment and areas in order to provide optimum service and safety to the customers and to improve standards. I have also provided the membership team with training of how to use the correct sales module in order to optimise sales, increase referral and to aid retention within the centre. Other aspects of my role include the recruitment of staff, managing all front line staff ensuring they are delivering the expected service on a daily basis, cash handling, banking and opening and lock down of the centre.
