On the day I have set up stalls, sold items to the public, and helped with counting funds raised at the end of the event. Have assisted with this event for 10 years now.

  Part time, Four events over Two Years. Largs Classic Car Festival and Largs Food Festival. The Food festivals required interacting with the public by handing out information and being able to answer questions about the event when asked. Collecting entry fee and clean up duties were also involved. At the Classic Car festival I had the same responsibility as the food festival but in addition had to assist in directing cars to a suitable parking area, in the set up of the event I had to ensure relevant health and safety signs were where they needed to be and finally assembling a false road for cars to drive on as the event was on grass.   Volunteer

  I volunteered to help with the Youth Urban games. The Youth Urban games was an even held in Glasgow showcasing BMX, Parkour and Skateboarding. I was involved with the brand development through the steering group and on the day of the event I worked with a film company (Wright Film Co.) where I was filming and taking photos. Some of my clips made it into the final edit (find below). This was an amazing experience that allowed me tie in my interests/hobbies of Urban sports and videography, while relating to my line of study. Show less

  This role involved promoting the Amazon Prime Student service to University students.This required interacting with students on campus, as well as through social media platforms, pushing promotional offers and encouraging students to sign up to the Prime service. There was regular communication with managers who were based remotely and a weekly report completed showing number of interactions, sign-up and branded items given out. Training days were also attended in London and Edinburgh that allowed for refining of sales techniques with colleagues from other Universities, was well as reporting and overcoming issues experienced signing up students.
