      I was a Senior Lecturer in Mathematics, Statistics and Operational Research. I also lead several degree programmes as Course Director, including BSc Mathematics for Management Decision Making, and Combined Honours Degrees in Computing, Business IT and E-Commerce. This was my first Permanent Academic Appointment. I was appointed as a Lecturer in Mathematics. I'd previously worked as a Visiting Academic at London South Bank, from 1987 - 1989.

      We are a specialist Mathematics Consultancy working with Secondary Schools and FE Colleges in the UK to improve the quality of teaching, and to raise standards of attainment. We were awarded Accreditation for providing CPD to Teachers by the National Centre for Excellence in Teaching Mathematics in October 2012. We also deliver Leadership Training. In July 2013 we won a National Award for Mathematics Teaching. We celebrated 30 years in Education in 2017!

This included a developing a consistent model for induction for all of the degree and diploma courses, and included base-line testing, study skills sessions, Library and Computing Facilities and introduction to University Studies. The aim was to ensure that all students had the best possible start to their studies..
