      Entertainer/seaman

As a Guest Entertainer on some of the most beautiful and award-winning ships of the Royal Caribbean International Fleet, I had the unique opportunity to entertain weekly during 3 - 6 month tours. Utilizing musical storytelling, I performed tunes with a 13-piece orchestra ranging from Broadway to Jazz to Pop to R&B and Country, being sure to connect to an array of guest demographics from around the world. As a Seaman, I participated in guest embarkation muster drills as boat leader, giving clear instructions to passengers in the use of lifejackets and the action to take in the event of an emergency. Crowd management is part of the mandatory courses that all crew involved in passenger evacuation must study and be qualified in. Show less

Cast in the role of 'Professional Woman' on the National Tours of "Menopause The Musical" produced by Tony Award-winning G Four Productions. In this smash-hit show, four characters from different walks of life notice unmistakable similarities among one another. The all-female cast jokes about their woeful night sweats, mood swings, wrinkles, weight gain, and much more while dancing and singing along to parodies from classic pop songs of the 60s, 70s, and 80s. These women form a unique bond with the entire audience as women easily relate to all of the characters and identify parts of themselves in each role. Here are some fast facts:🌟Menopause The Musical has been running consecutively for nearly 20 years (until COVID-19).🌟Longest running scripted musical in Las Vegas history!🌟Nearly 17,000,000 people have seen the show worldwide.🌟Menopause The Musical has entertained audiences in more than 500 cities throughout the USA and nearly 300 cities internationally, and 16 countries! Not just for women, men love it too! A gentleman patron from Seattle once said, "This should be a mandatory workshop for all men!"I am proud to be a part of something magical that brings so many together in a celebration of life. Many feel, after watching and laughing and recognizing themselves on stage, that we are indeed connected. And indeed we are. It's been an honor. Show less I began my journey with "Menopause The Musical" as the National Understudy. Being cast as Professional Woman and Soap Star, it was my job to cover my main two cities, Boston and Philadelphia. But soon, I found myself trekking back and forth across the country filling in at a last minute notice. I was mobile, adaptable, easy to work with and good. It was the type of position where you have to be prepared to just make things work. Point in case: ✨ Picture it, train ride from New York to Philly, train has electrical failure and everyone is stuck on the train. Hours pass and the only solution given was to wait. I went to the last car on the train to see how far out we were. I could see the platform about 500 or so yards back, a small village 20 minutes outside Philly. The show was going up in 45 minutes. If I was going to make it, I had to think fast. I called our company manager to see if someone could pick me up at the village platform while hunting down the conductor. After a bit of convincing, he turned a blind eye, I went for it. First I did a quick change into my costume and makeup in the bathroom, strategically leaving on my sneakers. Then I made my exit off the last car of the train, scampered up the tracks with my bags to the platform, met my rendezvous and made it just at curtain. I had no idea the audience had been kept informed of my escapade, but when I entered stage left and took my mark, lights came up and the audience cheered for a whole minute! Awww, show biz. Well, you know the saying, "The show must go on!" Show less

It just so happened that's where we toured, Korea. From Busan in the south to the Korean Demilitarized Zone at the North Korean boarder. We also toured Japan and her islands, the Philippines, and other territories in the region. The award was granted to our group for going above and beyond the call to service to get to the troops and entertain well. The commanding officers felt we deserved recognition for our hard work and joy we brought to the troops while they were so far from home. For me, the honor was mine. Show less
