Research Interests: My research lies at the intersection of gene regulation and membrane physiology. For example, I am currently using budding yeast as a model organism to study the impact of the anticancer ruthenium complex KP1019 on plasma membrane transporter expression.Teaching Interests: My primary teaching responsibility is Human Genetics for Health Professionals. My teaching philosophy focuses on creating an inclusive climate and engaging students through active-learning and real-world examples. Show less
