      After completing 3 months deputation at ABB Sweden and ABB China HV Product factories, I joined at ABB Vadodara in Aug 2008 and assumed the responsibility of Product Group Manager - High Voltage Components.Handled business of 2500 MINR with a team of 350 employees I was responsible for total business of region North comprising Haryana, Punjab, H.P. and J&K.The Job activities apart from Business Development included meeting business targets and project management of large orders directly and balance through dedicated team of marketing engineers and Channel Partner.Key Account Management for a few major accounts of ABB.Formulation of Sales/Strategic Planning for the region Managed the Sales and Marketing operations, achieving annual targets.Responsible for Marketing/Promotional activities including Brand Management and Advertising.       To improve the quality issues, the major challenge was to streamline the production area. With dedicated efforts and good team work, we could overcome all the bottlenecks within a span of six months. As a results, Drives production capacity is ramped up to 450 from 200 nos. As a result revenues in 2011 grew by 30% and Profitability exceeded the budgeted figures because of stable production in all lines.New products like 765 kV were introduced, and we were through with the type testing and factory approval of the same in 2011.Full focus on Cost out and India rewire initiatives helped factory in controlling material cost as well as minimizing other costs and we are continuing our journey on the right path with new projects on cost out in LTB to achieve profitable and sustainable growth.The leadership exhibited by self is visible in various functions e.g. Quality, Production, Marketing, Technology and SCM from its remarkable performance during these periods. I have completed various 4Q and SMT projects in 2011 and contributed significantly in the bottom lines of LTBs. Show less
