  Current responsibilities include, investigation, negotiation & settlement of Catastrophic Personal Injury Motor Liability & Casualty Claims up to and over £5m in the UK & Scotland.Cases include Brain Injury/PVS. Adult & Paediatric Brain Injury claims. Spinal Cord Paralysis, Tetraplegia & Paraplegia/Amputation claims- lower and upper limb/Pain & Psychiatric disorders/ Complex Orthopaedic Injuries/Fatal Accident claims & also cases involving The Animals Act. Managing a personal case load of complex high value claims, adhering to Company & Industry Regulatory requirements, reporting and liaising with Internal & external stakeholders, including Underwriters, Senior Management, Reinsurers, Rehab Case Managers, Brokers, Policyholders, Panel Lawyers, Counsel, Experts & also Claimant Lawyers & Claimants. Regular attendance at Round Table meetings, Conferences with Counsel, Solicitors and our Experts, experience of Mediation, Settlement meetings and also Route Map meetings with Claimants and their Legal representatives. Committed to providing excellent customer service and control of claims and litigation expenditure and progression of my cases to a satisfactory conclusion. I also act as a Mentor and referral point for junior members within the Division, providing guidance, support & training where relevant and needed.
