I helped kick-start Bankdata's developer experience (DevEx) journey by being part of the team that first experimented with, developed, and introduced an Internal Developer Platform (IDP) at Bankdata. The platform is based on Spotify's Backstage.Through this experience, I gained valuable insights into starting new initiatives, experimenting, and learning how to introduce new products in an established organization. I also learned the importance of platform teams to the success of any large enterprise, and how we need to provide developers in feature teams with a clear path throughout the entire development process so that they can focus on solving problems and developing solutions that provide value to the customer.
